I have a 125 version of the cbr and I can tell you it's an excellent bike for commuting. It has very low maintenance costs and consumes very little fuel(I drive it quite aggresively, but still it gives me about 39-41 per L) while giving quite satisfactory pick up at the low-end(for a single rider, IMO the bike struggles with a pillion).

The slim profile of the bike makes it easy to cut through traffic jams too as compared to bigger bikes.

The only thing it lacks is high-end pick up and top speed. Mine typically tops out at 130 or so on flat. That's what larger bikes are for right? If that's your kind of thing for 2b though you'd be better off with a 2-stroker like the sp or krr. I personally believe small bikes are designed for economy rather than speed so I got a 4-stroker for transport.

he probably means the pick-up is more sluggish with two passengers..

i still feel cbr150 makes a great bike for commuting tho..riding alone via expressways most of the time can get me up to 46 km/l. quite an economical bike but not for speed demons =p

baby, u're my love..

It's really up to u.. CBR150 maintance is very very cheap..

SP still have to decarbonize and do a full service now and than...

at 7.5 rpm, CBR150 is around 100km/hr

SP is around 120~140km/hr

Depends on what u want, ur budget and etc.. CBR150 is a good long term bike..SP is a fun bike but IMO less reliable.. CBR is more expensive than SP(machine price)...

But this is my opinion after riding a cbr150 for 11month, there might be more experienced rider out there :D
