Not enough parking lots

Hey guys! Just wondering if any of encounters this problem. Being a season parker but there are not enough lots for you to park your bike.

 

I recently just got summoned $100 for parking at my house's roundabout shelter(not blocking passage way and not under a void deck). But I got not choice, whenever im back home regardless the timing, the lots are always full, cannot be I buy season parking for my block then you ask me to park at some where else right??

 

There are a few other bikers also did the same thing as me(parking at the shelter's roundabout). Haven't had the chance to ask them if they got fined or how they tackle this problem.

 

I know this is only a small matter and walking 1 block away to get my bike isnt much of a problem, but I still feel its quite unreasonable.

it sounds like you are staying ard my block. yup. same experience. a group of rider in my area even wrote to HDB asking for extra lots. THEY wrote with all kind of excuses.

 

whats was worse. at one period, a small renci hospital was build and this cause a lot of bikes to park under the block. sway sway, i left for a few days under the block. kena saman.

Damnnnn! So where do you park now? Far away? Makes no sense man! So many car lots but so little bike lots

IF I come home late, then move around my blocks and look for one. the furthest i have is park my bike 3 to 4 blocks away.

Thats really bad man! I'm still seeing people parking at the shelter though, havent had a chance to ask them if they get summoned or not

summon???? guaranteeddddd. only question is when. and when it comes, dont be surprised if the amount would knock you down. some people i heard kena refer to TP and get point somemore

Yup! But as far as i know, they only waive the first offence, 2nd 3rd etc high chances cannot appeal.

Experienced this way too many times. Met the MP quite a number of times before too. First time waived off. Consecutive times must pay. Either the so called 'administrative fees' or simply pay the fine. Best thing is the lots were not filled by motorcycles with season parking (hybrid lots) and the plates start with the letter J. However these bikes do not get any fine though. But those F plates gets fined. Once got a reply from Meet the MP session from one of their 'helpers' that they do not believe that there is not enough lots for bikes. If cars then they believe. I was like WTF?! Once renewed season parking a day late and parked beside one of the regular J plated bike. Next morning get fined already! No fine for the J plated bike though. Better yet now they removed 8 bike lots to make 2 more car lots.

 

As usual there are those who simply parked on the kerb beside the lots. Feedbacked to the HDB/Town council repeatedly and given a number to call if there are no available lots. Lousy coz its not like suddenly an empty lot will appear. And these supposedly hybrid lots are still painted in white only. Am sure its supposed to be red and white.

 

Now they created another 6 or 8 more lots but have to walk like 100 metres or more to get to the lots. On the bright side they finally created another 6 or 8 lots more.

wow. same same lah duo. i have the same feeling abt the J vehicle you are talking. my place got this regular. you can actually see him in the morning and afternoon coming not using the gantry but using the pedestrian footpath to enter the parklot. happily park the bike and off he goes to his rented flat. its been years already. i give up hope

You and me both. Even took photos of these bikes occupying the hybrid lots overnight and sent it to hdb/town council. They will not disclose if these bikes have season parking by providing me with template replies. Pretty much expected.

Hey guys, I live in a Bto cluster of blocks and have encountered same situation, there is even 1guy in my place who is a season parking holder and he parks both his bikes in 1parking lot but does not get penalised, like that also can bros. Other thing is my carpark is full of red/white lots and u can nvr get a lot on the 3rd floor where i stay as well!

For future jus go the extra mile and take pic in ur carpark when its full then u take pic where u park at roundabout as well too bro, may help in case ur summoned

i park double yellow or any spot where theres space...some mscp really really fullhouse one...alot of bikes even park outside of the last lot...
