Woodlands Checkpoint to JB: which is the LARGER lanes

Hi, I ride Honda Goldwing, my friend rides 3-wheelers, another a big Yamaha with large side boxes. We planning go Johor via Woodlands Checkpoint. Can anyone please advise:

 

Towards Johor

a. At Woodlands Checkpoint, which larger lane to take for big bikes.

b. At Johor Checkpoint, which larger lane to take for big bikes.

 

Towards Singapore

a. At Johor Checkpoint, which larger lane to take for big bikes.

b. At Woodlands Checkpoint, which larger lane to take for big bikes.

I'm also trying to get this info as I just started riding again after 15yrs...

 

Yesterday i drove in from JB via Woodlands Checkpoint and saw a signage - Lanes 31 & 41 is for bigger & wider bikes

 

Not sure about the exiting and JB side though..

For big bike,my advice is to use tuas

-pay 50 cents using your cashcard when you are going and coming back @ singapore checkpoint

 

Goin in (50 cent)

Coming in from jb (50 cent)

 

After malaysia checkpoint.pay rm 1.10 cent.

 

Goin in (rm 1.10)

Coming out from jb (rm 1.10)

 

It's much more easier and lesser jam the woodland checkpoint

For the benefits of those who own a PGO I ME 150 3-wheelers. I rode mine from Causeway to JB.

 

Sg CIQ to JB: actually bike can pass between kerbs but gantry placed there prevented entry, so must use car lanes.

 

JB CIQ to JB: no problem passing between kerbs.

 

JB CIQ to Sg: no problem passing between kerbs.

 

Sg CIQ to Sg: kerbs too narrow, unable to pass through, must use car lanes.

 

For those who ride Adiva AR3, confirmed cannot pass between kerbs both Sg and JB side.

At the JB CIQ side, I realised that they have these new, very narrow M-bike lanes for Malaysian bikes and even for those non-M-bike lanes, for foreign bikes, they are very narrow, narrower than the old ones.

 

I had to be very careful(I folded my wing mirrors) with my Suzuki Burgman 650 executive while entering the JB CIQ.

 

I think any bike wider than that cannot enter there. For information, Burgman 650 executive width (without folding wing mirrors) is 810 mm.

Been awhile since i last rode in malaysia. Now there are charges for motorcycles too? Malaysia side pay by touchngo?

jb checkpoint still free boss

tuas check point still the same...for spore side 50 cents for each entry and exit...

for msia side still $1.10rm for entry and exit...dont forget ur touch n go card...jus top it up at the entry there..cheers...

Thanks their info not always right too. i almost got struck in their so called BIG bike lane last week. As lane closed they open other smaller lanes lol.. saw a harley infront having difficulty getting pass those metal pole with his handle bar.

while others go queue up at the manual lane .

wah awesome man. great idea. i cant help but i am sure many also thinking the same. i am sure Tuas is ok but not woodlands. on my normal cb750 already so difficult at the Malaysia CIQ, they supposedly have some gantry which are for big bikes like Goldwing but I have personally seen gl go there. good luck

SG custom overall high not exceed 2.1m is ok.

Tuas no more toll on either side.

 

Can't clearwoodlands as bike with boxes are too wide.
