VivoCity carpark - Bike (damm expensive)

Hi all, last Saturday, I went to VivoCity with my gf, as usual I park inside the multistory carpark at Vivo... When i reach the entrance there, realize that how cum no space for motorcycle to enter, end up notice that, there is no free parking liao, which have to pay... :giddy:

 

I am not sure when Vivo start need to pay for motorcycle parking?? coz i got around 1 mth plus nv go liao... I start my parking from 4pm to 12am, go shopping, dinner n movie with my gf there lor... When i exit tat time, my parking fees is $6.... damm exp man.... i tink i got nv pay so high parking fee for my bike b4 lor.....

 

The rate for motorcycle parking as follow,

 

1st 3 hrs - $1.00.

Subsequent hr - $1.00 per hrs. (tis is the most bloodily rate)

 

Total number of hrs parking at Vivo is 8 hrs. $1.00 (1st 3hrs) + $5.00 (5 hrs)..... :giddy:

 

Suggest to other bikers, if nxt time need to park more than 3 hrs, pls park your bike opposite the Harbourfront open carpark there. Parking fee at there only cost you $0.65 cent one parking coupon.. after parking, you can used the underground to Vivo..

but their entrance design is crap!

 

after midnight show all the doors locked, can't even get into the carpark. have to slowly walk up the ramp.

 

best part, i was on a date at that point of time..

They charge and make $$$(Which a business is entitled), some of us not happy.

They do not allow bikes, all of us not happy.

 

Just take it as a on-going cost. Unless you work or have to park there everyday, then is a diff story.

i'm worried and is confident that sooner or later, other complex will follow the example of vivocity by charging bikers hourly rates.

Actually Vivo sucks more than the unreasonable parking fees.

 

Yesterday I went to Vivo... collecting some speaker thing from the Canon showroom for printer bought during IT fair. Then head over to challenger where my fren spent $141 on a single receipt.

 

Vivo got this policy. Convert your spending into cash to offset your parking. Per $50 spent, you get $1 off parking. Decided to go and register for it.

Was directed from the basement service desk to the 2nd floor customer service counter. After a long queue, they wanted to process my registration. It couldn't be done. Simply because my IU number starts from '0' coz bike, whereas cars IU no start from '1'. The counter ger cannot key in my IU number. According to her, she can't do a thing because management has only offered this rebate for cars. Not bikes. I was really pissed off. Wrote the feedback form and submit it. Think prob it will get trashed until I sent an email later today to the sucky management.

 

Based on this incident alone, I decided not to continue my shopping and went off after dinner, which would have earned me $3 off parking. Such discrimination!!! Swearing off vivo because of this. No wonder there were only 5 bikes (including mine) when I entered the B2 parking area at 8pm.

theres getting more and more bikes parking there, most of the time don really have space to park. as will block the whole pavement. sometimes really dono where can park for free liao:cry:

in front of st james alot alot of bikes parking there.. i went there on a weekday morning to collect something.. i got difficulty manovuering my bike..

 

there's a big carpark opposite vivo and harbourfront beside the hawker centre mah.. can park there.. tear coupon..

That's a good idea, but have to re-queue to enter again. Yesterday been there and paid $4 for 4 hrs parking.. Quite expansive but compare to car parking charges, .

 

Sometimes we have to pay for our convenience and the quality (rain-free)

It didnt deduct any amount Any one experience it yesterday? Or maybe im the lucky one... OR maybe because i Enter and Exit using un Loading/Unloading entrance

I think it's because of the loading entrance.. I'm using the normal car entrance.. -_-
