Anyone here anticipating for this bike as well?

Interested to know if Boon Siew would even consider getting them since they recently only release the snipers in June.

Would like to get some network on riders waiting on the release of this bike :)

Seems like this forum is dying too. Just scrolling through the threads and there seems to be only a handful of posts in 2018.

Anyway, high chance I might be getting the Exmotion. See if the COE drops to 5k.

Nice little bike indeed.... but if too many on the road it'll be annoying like super 4 LOL...... :sian:

Agree with that. So actually I'm quite happy I haven't seen any on the road yet, although my friend said he has seen a few.

Looks like a very boyish cafe racer bike. I tried it on but looked too small for me. Only parallel imported units available thus far. Heard that Boon Siew is not bringing it in yet. I am probably landing with FZN150i as likely choice for my 1st 2B bike. Any long term riding feedback on that bike?

Ok. So I bought the CB150R. Am I excited over it? Not really.

Yes it looks nice. Performance is ok for a 150. Posture is acceptable. So what's wrong with it?

1: The manual is in Thai. Don't understand a word of it.

2: The horn button is located above the signal switch. Yes I know many new bikes have this layout, but that doesn't mean I have to like it.

3: To access the battery, the pillion seat, rider's seat, side covers and tank cover must be removed first.

4: To access the spark plug, the side covers and the radiator - yes, THE RADIATOR - must be removed first, and then you have to feel for it.

5: The high beam is not high. It shines at the same spot where the low beam shines. It's just like shining 2 lights at the same spot.

6: There is no oil filter. Which means whatever metal particles that get worn off in the engine will be circulating with the oil in the engine.

7. The meter screen is plastic. It will get scratched easily.

8. At 7000 rpm a blinking white light comes on. I don't know it's purpose except to irritate me.

So am I excited over this bike? Not really. Not anymore. But it's with me now.

I found out what the blinking white light is. Gear shift indicator (I thought it was but couldn't be sure). And it can be reset to whatever rpm you want it to blink.

Haven't brought it to full throttle yet, but my friend managed to go up to 135kmh.

Consumption is good. I've managed to average 42kml. However most of my commute is on expressways. Gear changes at between 6 to 7k rpm.

Anyone had any fuel problems with the bike so far? Like your throttle never close and it suddenly slows down then picks up again. Rpm keeps on wanting to drop. Went to service already, bike shop said was fuel filter. Cleaned and it worked well for the next few months. Then it started again, just cleaned the fuel filter but its still having the same problem now. Wondering if its the injector, not really sure yet. Bike shop recommended to remove the fuel filter but worried since the bike doesnt have an oil filter in the engine, particles can go in.

Maybe can check the throttle position sensor or EFI fuel pump relay?

Rented one to try after many years not riding. Coming from a phantom, I feel that for the riding posture - most of your weight will be on your wrist, shoulders and lower back cos it encourages you to lean forward.

Side stand placement also makes the foot peg occasionaly catch on your pants leg. Bike is also a bit tall (though I think some people lower it) so you tend to lean the bike against your thigh while standing on one leg at red light.

Review based on about 3 days riding it. Quite sad cos I like the the look of this bike, but don't think I will buy.
