hi guys.. currently i tinking of changing my kappa box to givi box..

 

1) jus wondering will the base plate be the same? or i have to get the givi base plate?

2) i alreali have the rack so i dont need to change the rack rite?

 

nvr change b4.. need u guys advices.. thanks in advance!

just to borrow this thread. can a kappa rack fit a givi box? i have the givi base plate btw

If im not wrong, the rack doesnt matter, be it Kiss rack, Kappa rack, Mono 2 or MR4, as long as the base plate can be secured tight onto the metal base of the rack.

 

If you buy a givi box, they will include the base plate provided its first hand, recently my friend changed her kappa box on a monorack 2 to a givi slim with the same base plate, so i think the base plate is universal for kappa/givi boxes? just a hunch

not all baseplate are universal. some baseplate have a curve up at the back. might not fit the new box.

best is you bring down to the shop and try or ask. they will have a better idea
