Honda Wave 125(R, S, I) and Wave X

Guys, I am new to this forumn and recently just got my 2b license from bbdc. Planning to get a Honda wave but I want the wave to be fuel efficient.

 

From the information I gathered, Honda wave 125I is fuel injected as compared to 125R or 125S. I'm not very sure about Honda Wave X though. Tried to research on whether Honda Wave 125I is for sale in Singapore, but can't find any information except sale for body parts in this forumn.

 

Have a few questions on my mind, hope any laojiao kup riders can help out =P

 

1. Is Honda Wave X the same as Honda Wave 125I? (as in, fuel injected also)

 

2. Is Honda Wave X or Wave 125I for sale in Singapore? (Tried to find out from google but can't seem to get any information)

Yes wave 125 x has got the same engine...

The difference is only in the meter(all centralised) and the seat width.

All other parts like suspension and engine components are interchangeable.

Honda Wave 125x has got a more sportier look.

Honda wave R, RS and S are all similar with minor changes only in the cowling.

wave X for a nicer look and of course its more fuel efficient.. but when the fuel injector spoil dont cry lmao cause it gonna cost a bomb....

i am riding wave S its for sure faster then a wave X. monthly maintenance is abt the same just that i can easily tune my carb where else wave X u cant diy....

wave x got carb version... efi wave x not available in singapore.

I saw this Honda Supra X at a shop. It came with sport rims, front and rear disc brake. I was told that the bike (engine wise) is same as Wave. Made in Indonesia for Indonesia market. There's a sticker on the bike stating it has reach 25 million units. (Don't know its for this model or for overall models). Quite interested in this bike myself.

i always believe in carbs cubs than fi cubs....

rode a R way bck when it was popular....

Trust me they are meant for 'torture'..lol

 

Now getting bck another wave as a spare bike...

still love riding cubs though...

 

not to what i know... all waves are semi auto....
