looking to replace my vespa px150 as the COE is going to be up...

am looking for a cheap and low maintenance like my vespa as I do not ride it often... even if I do ride, it will be short distance.

As my vespa do not need a battery, I can leave it there for months and still able to ride. it will be good to something that have a kickstart so it will not rely on the battery to start. Do not want to end up with a flat battery when I want to ride... Also hope to have a more comfortable bike, vespa is not very comfy due to the vibration...

Any sugesstion?

I think CG125 not easy to find a decent one...

Phantom can go without battery?

Yes, PHANTOM 150 ONLY can go without battery.

I think RXK/S is low in maintance...

FC 35km/L, 2T 1000Km/L, EO change 1x per year (20 000km), dont need battery also can..Spare parts can get anywhere in SG & JB.

Since your riding a small bike(Vespa), maybe you can consider Wave S, Spark X1R all the cubs. Like YBR, you can see a ton of them on the road and there must be a reason behind it

Yes, if you want extreme reliability go for a lightweight, low compression model. YBR is a great choice. If my Phantom can go 20,000kms without needing any repairs, I bet the YBR can go even further for "free" lol.

If you want something with a more modern outlook and performance but still economical, get a FZ150i. It's like the YBR's younger, more svelte, more athletic sister. I'm willing to bet maintenence wise it's even simpler since the EFI system takes away the need to maintain carb settings, etc. It tunes itself, literally.

You need to take into consideration Malaysian and Chinese parts. Chinese parts win hands down! Haha.

I riding small bike coz it is almost zero maintenance.. leave there for 3 months without touching it also no problem... only tires need to pump air... looking for similar type...

I dun think ybr and FZ150 can be left untouch for so long...

I guess those with kickstart should not have an issue

everyone forgot the lengendary honda cub.

that bike is immortal, trash it and it still runs, use veggie oil as engine oil, it still runs.

heck, that thing probably found a way to turn on God Mode in real life.

the closest we got here in sg is probably the Honda Wave. easy to ride, repair and maintain.

February 2011 - March 2012 = Phantom TA 200

March 2012 - August 2013 = Suzuki Impulse 400

Present = BMW (Bus, MRT, Walk)

Hmm. What about RXZ? It's been around for 20+ years. parts are easily available in SG and JB.

FC is at 45km/l aprox. Simple 2 stroke engine. maintenance routine will be like the PX200. 2 T and gear oil.
