yep. :)

You can see the oil cooler in the smaller pic. Just between the small protruding silver fairing shrouds, located above the engine. It's an air cooled engine with an oil cooler. Not liquid cooled like the sonic/CBR150.

its made in phillipines and not thailand or msia???

then there will be difficulty getting after market accessories!

I think they're made in Thailand. I first saw the bike there before it was launched in the Phillipines. They are being imported from Thailand as far as I know and doubt parts will be a problem as they share the engine with another suzuki 150cc sports type bike similar to a CBR150.

my understanding of cubs is that Hondas are made in thailand and suzukis and yamahas are made in msia. but anyway who cares as long as the bike is ridable and sellable here in sillypore.

btw there is a zx10 and g6k4 selling in classified. u might be interested.

Thanks but no thanks.. too nice and too exp for my liking.

=p

I'm keeping an eye out for a k1 600 or CBR600F4 or similar for $8k or less. (pref a $6k bike) Anyway, won't be doing that for a few months atleast. Gotta get my RS125 running again and have a few more track sessions on it. Want to clock a timing close to 2min on that bike before upgrading. Apart from that I'm concentrating on the KTM and improving my off-road riding skills.

cool

i like the

oversize disc

digital meter

both disc brake

150cc!!

dohc engine

bigger gas tank!!

6gear!!

Chris, is the handlebar as low as the sonic??

I think the riding position is VERY similar to the sonic. I think the analog tacho/digital speedo combination (much like modern sportsbikes) is awesome.

My gf should have her licence in 1-2 months. She's on lesson 7 currently (2nd attempt). I think it will be a good 1st bike for "her". =p

muahahahaa *evil grin*

Biggest problem is my absolute refusal to buy totally NEW bikes. hmmm... dunno how to get around that for this one and I dun wanna wait for them to become available 2nd hand. *dilema*

for this zooki cub

u save $$ on mod the oversize disc

dohc engine is tough

suzuki insurance is the lowest among all

6gear give u more flexible when changing gear combo

digital speedo worth much more than analoge meter

bigger gas tank = meaning less stop at gas station

and also, bigger gas tank can't be mod on other cub

maybe alot of $$ can

already 150cc, no need spend $$ big bore anymore

so end up, u save alot $$ fro mod work

and also can challange Kenny modded sonic

u can compete him in horsepower category

or who can last in a long distance ride

:cheeky:

actually.. the gas tank difference between a Sonic and Raider is .7l

but for small bikes I guess it does make a slight difference but I wouldn't know for sure until you actually ride one. Gotta factor in the slightly bigger engine.

Yeah, I can't wait to test ride it. Pity there will be no official Raider launch in Singapore like they did in the Phillipines.

I believe the engine in this bike is very similar to the FXR150 (Suzuki's answer to the CBR150). The specs for this bike can be seen here:

http://www.fxr150.ws.net.nz/specifications.php

This states 20bhp @ 9900RPM! If so then it should be easy to upgrade the specs of the Raider 150 to add 4 extra BHP without much hassle. (Most likely cams/carburation) FXR150's are pretty common in Malaysia/Johor and I often see malaysian plate FXR150's on the road in Singapore.

Imagine a 95kg cub with 20 BHP! (or more) AWESOME.
