i tot i saw one on the road today... it is a FY plate..maybe GHC bring in the bike? or some other bike shop?? :confused:

Yes i saw the Bike you talking about.. it is FY plate.. definetely not a JFY plate or anythoer plate..

 

The bike makes so easy to recognise is the oversize brake disc. I say maybe GHC have the bike coz they usually bring in wierd suzuki mopeds like viva, etc.

 

The bike was blue and white colour.... unless my eyesight is fading on me...

 

maybe u need to expand your search.....

Checked with Bike Production on the status of the Raider...

Price will be 4.5k OTR and around late Oct/Sept timing.

nah, that's the 150. I looks big due to the DOHC head and the fact that it's air cooled. I've seen these bikes up close n personal in Thailand. AWESOME! and the speedo cluster is really nice. A BIG tacho and a digital speedo, just like on a sports bike.

well it's not ...how i know ??? i own one ...and the Suzuki Raider 150 u saw there is an old model already ... try browsing the Raider 150R ...

 

One reason why they never import here ....1 reason i can think of is that honda & yamaha got the upper hand in singapore...well as back home ..it's free for all.

 

i've been scouting singapore for possible racing config.but reality knocked my head that u don't have the right to upgrade to racing modes...tsk tsk...

 

neways, will still be looking...my get lucky...

 

but this bike is one of a kind...

 

back home most sold cub is the HOnda XRM cost as is is 1/4 of the This raider cub. then they started modifying , ended up still have 110 cc .while the Raider 3/4 more pricy than the honda wave ,xrm.. but more powerful.

 

end up they ever regret to realize they ever bought the honda .heheheheh

 

just sharing....happy riding

hi,

 

i'm from philippines and i owned a raider-150. it's an air-cooled engine the radiator look alike u saw was the oil cooler. raider r150 engine also the same with the raider 150 except the r have electric starter and different fairings style.

 

by the way the stock can reach 150 kph, but i only pushed my bike to 146 kph.

It is in fact air/oil cooled. There is no radiator (ie NOT water cooled). Oil coolers are considered ad ons for most air cooled bikes (dirt bikes, singles etc). As you can see from the pics etc there is only a small oil cooler and no water in the engine.
