I just duplicate at any key maker I see on streets / in shopping center.

Will tell them its bike key. If they ok, then let them do.

Few bucks only :)

Take out the chip from your existing key, and put it into this empty key.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Honda-Motorcycle-Empty-HISS-Key-Case-Cut-to-your-bike-CBR929-Fireblade-VFR800-/140825681333?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item20c9dd5db5#ht_1909wt_1163

Then go to a key shop, duplicate the key pattern. There you go. $25 DIY. :)

Manufacturer description:

This key has space for the transponder chip inside it, so all you need to do is take the chip out of you old, broken or worn key, and put it in the new one. Then you are back up and running without the expense of a new ECU and lockset!

when u duplicate these key with chips, doesnt it affect the CDI? i mean what i know is that u can duplicate a key twice only. after that the CDI will not recognise anymore duplication. is this true?
