for now will unwrap.. but dunno wats the condition underneath the wrap.. but will definitely change the grip soon..

my sequence abit wrong wrong.. no license i already got the bike.. then i already started modding b4 i get the license hahahaha

ya.. especially when my wheels are small.. dun dare to corner too fast.. anyway my speedo is showing a diff speed sia.. like my speedo says 80 but my husb beside is traveling at 70. so weird 1..

try getting the overgrip call Grab On? It’s a nice sponge grip that goes over the original grip without adding too much thickness. Just need to slip it in with some hand sanitizers as a lubricant 😂

for your tires I think the previous owner might have change the wheels to make it even lower. So now it’s “slower” even thou the speedometer is reading the original rpm and showing the “calibrated” speed for the original wheel size. It’s safer anyway… confirm won’t be caught speed unless you are going like 120 🤣🤣🤣

thanks!!! it was a total mental torture yesterday sia.. i actually never expect that i would be able to get the bike license anymore.. but im really glad that i just bite the bullet and went thru the entire course again.

haha i dun think i would dare to lane split.. its so dangerous.. even when driving i also dun dare to squeeze lane.. nowadays alot of assholes on the road who dont check their blindspot when they do lane changing.. need to be at full concentration when driving / riding.

First time you’ll lane split is likely going to while on the expressway and it’s a jam… cars will pressure you to lane split. Even if you don’t want to…
when that happens remember how you do your plank 😂😂😂 go slow and focus on the front.

increase your protection level 1st before do others things on the bike..

slowly build up the comfort level on lane splitting, if your hubby rides too, can get him to go together, get a comms set and communicate..

sometimes he led and you follow and switch..  give each other pointers from there on..

if both got cam, even better to review and discuss

ride safe out there!!

I have jacket n wearing boots.. but kinda not used to it cos school is a very safe environment 😂

Yea.. we both using the sena cos got other frens using it for mesh intercomm.. i bought a 360 cam n i think im riding like i dun have license on my bike like tt.. hahaha damn chui

There’s that term “Dress for the fall, not for the ride” 😂😂 sometimes I get lazy cause it’s a short ride to the neighborhood… I still have my jacket and gloves on… but khakis and shoe 😂😂😂 looks weird but well if really get knocked by someone only my legs will be exposed?🤪

the thick tires are there prob for safety reason? The more tire you have contacting the ground the more braking power you have. But of course that comes at the expense of speed. The thinner the tire the less resistance you have to move forward. Like racing bicycle vs mountain bikes.

can’t keep straight… 🤔 I think you need to grip your tank with your thighs and look further. You’ll be straight. The moment you look near of course you’ll be weaving. I usually keep about 2-3 car length away from someone at the front of me. And I align lift to where I can see the driver eyes through their rear view mirror. So I know they confirm can see me if they look up. And just chill there. Once u see them move their head you know they are going to change lane or something.

try and see if your path becomes straighter

Ahh.. ok.. i probably also need more confidence on the road since theres way more cars than when we were at the school.. yest due to the thick grip i almost couldnt stop in time for the traffic sia.. cos i panicked n then the brake n clutch lever was quite far away from the handle bar.. so i almost couldnt grip the levers in time.. my hand small 😥

Anyway.. here's a photo of my jacket n glove.. bought red cos i scare ppl dun see me on the road 😂

Suggest u change out the grip asap since it's posing safety problems.

Can't help wonder what the handlebar looks like 🤣

Why on earth the previous owner have to wrap till like that ....

Sounds like using the sponge to soak up vibrations ??

Can see, handlebar look like badminton racket 🤣

Your levers look like they can adjust position. If too far, can adjust inwards. Try to get a comfortable position. You should be able to rest your fingers on the lever without moving your whole hand.

wah the bike looks super cute! the handles look too think alright... totally needs to make it slimmer. Nothing is worst than not being able to reach the brakes. Meanwhile you can adjust the knob in front to make the lever a little less ridge to bring the lever nearer to your fingers first.

look at this pic, besides the thick grip, the bike seat was also changed? looks thicker then the stock one.

the other thing I find weird is the additional mudguard on the swingarm, it seems to be in a position that could get in contact with the bike when suspension is compressed fully, should be positioned more to 2.30-3 o'clock position

I have removed the grip cos it was giving mi problems.. yep i changed the seat to a thicker one.. hmm.. so far no issue on the mudguard leh.. maybe is photo angle?
