I like the color sceme. If permitted, i would like to have your full picture of the design and maybe will consider to replicate it at my bike. It looks elegant.

Other than belt, what's a common part that need replacement and how much?

My cost of maintence are as follows.

Clutch $138 (aug 2013) 2nd set of Clutch $178 (nov 2015. Inflation ba ha ha ) mine seem to botak at 25000km interval. i bought an old 2nd hand xciting.

 

Belt $233 (2013) the boss Herbert used to say kymco fitted original belt is very good quality and it can last 50000km and will not damage the transmission even when it break away.

 

Still good until last inspection in nov 2015. Ppl may tell u the belt is worn and need to change. Pls pls pls see the belt or any other item which they say is spoilt for yourself before agreeing to change it. Ppl's eyes may prone to see spolit items. Ha ha be careful.

 

The roller and uclip are abt $30 to $50

Engine oil just change every 5000km fully syn oil is great but the manuel have stated that semi oil is good enough.

spark plug every 10000km $12

Gear oil i change 10000km cheap $8

Coolant i believe should be every 2 to 3 yr as its not very ex. Some may advice no need to change.

Up to now still on same brake oil ba.

 

Brake pad is $25 and will last quite long as i dun speed so fast ba. ( rider scare die)

 

Tyres are up to individual can range from cheap $250 to abt $400 for a set of good bridgestone tyre. If tyre Botak pls pls pls change. Its the only thing touching the tarmac. Dun play play.

 

So parts like the bike stand may need to order as the shop does not keep this sort of item. I ordered and it took abt 3 weeks to 1 month reach. it cost me $25 comparable to other bike stand. I don think its very ex.

 

The other parts maybe a bit ex when compared to other bikes. This is what i always heard from other riders when i share with them the cost of replaceables on kymco xciting 300 ir.

 

My thoughts are if you buy it dun grumble. If you feel too ex then dun buy the scooter.

 

Life is too short to *****. Life goes on. The Impt thing is when i press the starter it works. So far i like auto scooter.

 

Others sifus pls add on.

What is the indicative pricing for a set ?

Other than pirelli any other brand models to reco that performs on par ?

But front tyre MOC, rear made in Brazil....

There will an abs indicator on the display panel. It will light up for a while after u start the bike and will go off after a while.

Hi, can check does anybody face this problem before. When both brakes lever r pulled, it feels like the front brake lever can be pulled further inwards than the rear brake lever. Anyone knw wat could be the prob?

should be ur front brake pad getting thinner as u use more than the rear

Hi Guys, Just ordered kymco xciting 400i abs from unique motorsports at woodlands branch. moct probably will receive bike on early next mth. shop salesman told me 1st servicing can e done when hit 4000 click. so far what are ur advises on 1st time svcing. when is the best time to go?

I can't remember what's the manual recommendation but I went 800, 1600 & 3200km for my break-in.
