Tks HSF,

Alas, today just went to Boon Siew, in short:

New blank key = S$35.50

Duplication of key = S$3 (hv to go elsewhere dup cos they dont do it.)

Recoding of new key = S$50

So it all adds up to S$88.50 .... heart pain.....

I chose to just recode cos cheapest liao, if change key lock whole set, includes fuel tank, handlebar n seat, will cost at least S$500+ PHEW!!!

If change just handlebar lock will be ard S$300+ also (imagine fuel tank n seat needs another S$200!! Ridiculous huh.)

So i opt for the cheapest, if my key kana stolen, that f**ker can still unlock the handlebar but cant start the electric current cos code diff liao. So they suggest i go install front wheel lock also.....

Alas.... So rem .... Dont lose yr keys!!!!

Hi,

1st of all, you MUST and can ONLY buy a spare HISS-capable key from Boon Siew.

Hope that your bike is of direct import instead of parallel import if not, they WILL CHOP you!.

The key itself cost SG$35 before GST charged by BS.

Physcial Dup of key cost abt $3-$4 per key which have to be done elsewhere. I dup mine @ a roadside keysmith manned by a lady for $4.00

I went for the key programming @ Loois' Motors which cost $25 flat. takes abt 10mins.

And its true that any single unit of HISS can ONLY program-dup 4 keys. after that.......blackeye liao...need to change the whole FFFF HISS unit!!!

Do loois provide one stop dup of keys?

Where is Boon Siew BTW.

So if I wanna program 2 keys also cost $25 as well?

my bike shop says if wanna dup key must park bike there for one whole day. Din take me long enuff to figure out they will be doing it elsewhere. Anyway the charge total is 60bucks. Same price quote by MotorWorld. Haben had mine dup. Hoped this helps.

Not sure whether my bike shop will 'chop' customer whose bike not bought from them so i din state here where's my bike shop coz no point. Price might be higher. Try Motorworld lor.
