Without windshield, riding up north is like going to head banging consert. So just plug in your favorite '"Rock" songs. 140kph is fine, why ride faster?. Touring...enjoy the view..... :)

I cant imagine some ppl can actually ride constant at 140+km/h withour a windshield on a S4. I tried, but like doing chinup for 1 hr. I took out my cos my speedo mount broke because of a fall. Now no windshield, damn kang kor.

I would just like to find out, how many ppl actually prefer to tour or ride fast (130-140) constant WITHOUT A WINDSHIELD.

140 still ok.. 160 abit hard.. 180 - 190 must bend down liao

without a windshield u will be tugging low at ard 140km/h

but wit a windshield at least can sit up till ard 170 before u start hiding behind it...

haven include crosswinds yet..but a s4 is stable at high speed.

for me i would say is very big different, tried with and without windhshield at 190km

without windshield at 190 the whole is like shaking without (pi chia)

tried with a windshield at 190 i would say is very stable

i would say windshield really really did a good job for me :thumb:

yea... true enugh.... i did 190km without windshield and OMG, i feel like i'm going to be blown away.... but super looks nicer without windshield...

According to the sticky thread "***CB400 Component & Servicing List***", the prices for the wind shields in 219 Lavender are:

$100 (Givi A600)

$140 (Givi A750)

$190 (Givi A755)

$260 (Givi A760)

$195 (Givi A770)

I'm just wondering whether this price is up-to-date or not. Seems much cheaper than before, right?

You don't know the limit of your bike until you crash it, otherwise you are just not trying hard enough:angry:

Doing some researches about wind shield now and found its effectiveness is very much related to the height of the rider. So I put up this poll to see the feedbacks of you guys who installed wind shield to see what is the height of the majorities and the results could perhaps give me a better idea of whether I should get a wind shield or not.

Btw, I'm 178cm tall.

hey hey...

i had been using givi A760 for almost 3yrs...

and it help me protect my meter once...

Wind directed to my helmet but guess used to it. btw im 1.77m tall.

no problem travelling at 170+ and if u hide down a little, you will feel the silence your shield can provide.

hey hey...

i have not taken photos of my bike for quite a long time... :cheeky: i will try to get it post up this few day

it was 260+ years ago... but i got it 2nd hand through SBF at 150..

What i feel it that it make your bike look "bigger" with box as the height of the shield is almost the same as the box...

cheer

I asked many shops and it seems that most of them don't have Givi Windshields.

Does anyone know where I can find Givi windshields? I'm actually interested in getting the A770 for my Spec 3.

Biking is something that everyone can learn and enjoy! :goodluck:

recently i had recieved multiple pms regarding my windshield's mounting angle and model enquires...

hi,

im getting a s4 revo soon. im a rather new rider. would like to ask u where you got your head cowling? i wanted a boldor originally but no stock. so i have a normal s4.

so i want some form of windshield. could you advice me please? yours looks very nice. most s4 windshields i seen stick upwards while yours is more slanted.

hi bro

pm you ask for advise hope you dun feel offended.. where you get your windshield ah? saw 1 post during july showing your bike at your mscp.. i like the angle of the windshield, it bends towards the rider and not upwards..

is it givi? if so, what model is it?

thanks alot.

mine's a Givi A755. to achieve the slanted angle, u need to remove the stopper at the brackets that came with the windshield. at the same time re-benting of the brackets have to be done. if you were to mount the windshield without benting the brackets, the angle of the slant is not as obvious as mine...
