Went to old southern to repair my spark 135

Hi guys since im new i would like to share my experience with you guys.

My bike broke down in the mid of expressway. As i was throttling. There was no power and the engine was down? Tried kicking start push start numerous times. And even changed the battery cause i thought it was dead but still cannot start so tow it away to old southern and the mechanic told me that the starter coil got problem and theres no 'electric' on the spark plug. He changed to the new one but still cant start and i was charged 145 bucks. Then he told me maybe my piston jam and if i want to change it i would have to change the block and the piston too as it comes with a set. I had no choice but to change it and it costs me another $380. Any comments guys? I felt cheated btw or am i wrong? Lol
