Soon Hin Motor

Any bikers in the have been to soon hin motor??? its at yishun industrial park A blk 1018 #01-342. the boss is call david... who talk very loud wan can even hear his voice from a distance. 2day juz went there to check my rear brake... they quote me $73 for a new pair of brake pad and brake pump... anyway have to change lor... cos rear brake cant work at all... :cry:

hi thread starter, i bought a bike from them 2 months back.. they charge $200++ more when compare to another shop, i was stupid la.. he say will change the batt and do service before hand over the bike to me. guess wat, the batt dead juz after 5days of riding, went back to soon hin and he charge me $45 for a so call new batt, nv last and died after 2 month,the bike broke down after 2 month, went to repair at racewerks and the mechanic told me 'ur bike never service before lei, everything so dirty' i was like $%^& . damn tt soon hin boss, everytime say' money give me and i will do for u' walau.. never go soon hin regardless of service or buy bike. his bike also more eX than others. .. plz pass on to other bikers!!

yup... i oso kanna tat... my batt die abt 1 mth after 1 collect my bike... oso change a new batt. The boss very $$$ face wan. So any good recommandation on which bike shop to go?

haha.. i think soon hin has a reputation of giving ppl cheapo batteries.. service or repair u can go racewerks at alexandra..they are veri gd at 2stroke bike, mechanic oso honest and give many possible solution to any problem unlike ' come give me money i fix for u' attitude.. another shop is Nan Wah motor at AMK ind pk 1.. quite a gd place to go too..

next yr change 2A bike dun dare to go there anymore. anyway i got my TA150 there over $2K... so wat bike u got from him???

oh.. i got a hornet 125 from him. FM plate.. machine price 1.2k. but everythin add up to 1.85k.. 3rd party insurance.. say got warranty but stil nid to pay money... .. the bike also jia lak, open the engine up and discovered the piston was badly burnt.. bo bian had to change a new one.. dun ever go back wor.. ..

Mine oso got problem... my rc valve once open liao hor my bike respond very jia lat... i m goin at 140km/hr then i close trottle drop until 80km/hr open trottle again my bike like choking leh... have to off the bike then restart again then ok. went to planet motor they told me my rc valve spoil liao must replace. Cost $120 need 2 repair. :cry:

go yishun's SPC. i just changed my rear brakepad(original honda) and denso spark plug of a total $25. They will also teach u about the gadgets in our bike and give suggestions, and nv force u to change anything u dun wish to. I changed my brakepads at soon hin b4 too, cost me $35. kana chop. O, mine a SP.

Where is Yishun SPC? do they do servicing? what EO they have? thanks, btw I'm riding Phantom.

seems like many got cheated from soon hin.. good to have ppl voicing out the forum so can let others to beware of it ... SPC yishun is near khatib mrt, Yishun Ring road... service there quite ok la.

i dunno tat they offer those service at spc... lucky u guys tell me. the boss at soon hin oni kn how to say '$$$ come i will do for u'... very $$$ face. bt the mech down there are qiute nice... u guys go Hum Heng b4??? down there the chopper oso very sharp...

ya man.. the boss always 'money give me then i do for u' but do like sh*t oso.. the mechanic ah ming is veri nice and skillful,he should go to other motordiam to work... ehh wher is hum heng?

Their service and servicing not bad.Frens also say.I see they do super 4 a lot.They got 2 shops facing each other.Frens and i ever bought battery,svc carb,brembo calipers,s4 parts from them.The david recognise my bike.I go there becoz emergency and also werkplace at wdlands.Straight rd to there.OK lah

Ya, the mech they are nt bad. i dunno his name bt he is quite a young chap... the mech at soon hin oso dun quite like the boss. they deserve a better motor diam. about Hum Heng, its behind soon hin... hum heng use to sell alot of scrambler bt now anything oso sell. the parts they are more expensive then the other motor diam ard there. use to go there last time kanna chop until upside down.
