I am interested.

If it is stated that it is legal. Than this is of course a better alternative than wat WR's.

ATTENTION!

anybody interested to buy:

1) an almost new pipercross air filter(for GSR400 and 600) and

2) a used X-TRE(suitable for GSR400, 600 and B-King)

Both going together for $200(usual price $339).

PM me if interested.

Hello Again-

Details on the X-Tre -

Model: #X-TRE

Name: X-TRE

Price: SGD 220.00

The X-TRE power box from HealTech Electronics Ltd. was designed for Japanese motorcycles originally equipped with Gear Position Indicator. X-TRE is an Advanced Timing Retard Eliminator, which preserves the function of the original Gear Indicator. It is achieved by having a microchip encode/decode the communication link between the ECM and dashboard, in real time. This feature is unique, as other TRE modules on the market disable the factory gear indicator. The module improves partial-throttle response, low-end torque and acceleration in gears 1 through 3, and by-passes the speed limiter on 1000cc+ bikes (GSX-R1000, GSX1300R Hayabusa, B-King). The unit automatically turns of the mapping in Neutral for smooth idle operation.

So far how long u guys have been using it?

me Kinda Intrested...

yo bro... wat tyre u change...?

Pirelli Diablo. Cheap2 $350.

yo guys... i believe all has change their set of tyres.... i think my turn is next...front tyre close to botak already... all my staff riders are pestering me to change already...

where? how much? what type? any other reviews...

i just changed my tyres yesterday. I'm back on german tyres, still running them in nicely. Also changed the wheel bearing n also the steering cone bearing. Spent a bomb this month.

Next milestone, top overhaul. $$$ fly away...

Change tyres - Me recommand to inflate with Nitrogen Air...

NItrogen Air lose pressure 3 times slower than normal air, as under inflated tyres can cause an incress of 8 to 10% on fuel consumptions & Even prolong your tyre life as nitrogen molecules are bigger than normal air, they tend to leak from out of tyres slower by 50% - in this case less going to the petrol station to pump tyres, Tyres will stay inflated longer than usual with even balance tread wear, Nitrogen Air is 17-21 degrees cooler than oxygen and it's non-flammable with better pressure maintenance resulting in improved road handling - in this case, as normal air get heated up, the tyres will expand & contracts when it cools down eventually the tyres will have uneven wear & tear especially when cornering - resulting more replace of tyres..

Nitrogen is moisture free & keeps steel belts from further rust - in this case u be able to make full -(really make full use) of the tyres until botak...

Been using nitrogen air on my tyres & the results is that damn good...the treads are still thick...

Good Choice on changing the wheel Beaings - at 80km it's recommanded especially while changing tyres...:thumb:

Did u change one only or both?

Nitrogen air yes, it's better in theory.. but where can u get it.. hmm.. that's the point..

btw, i got this from LTA website

---------------------------------------------------------------

Exhaust system

(e.g. exhaust manifolds, catalytic converters, mufflers, etc.)

The exhaust system, which consists of the exhaust manifold, catalytic converter and muffler, is used as part of a vehicle's exhaust emission control system to ensure that the exhaust emission meets our environmental requirements. Any modification to the exhaust system would therefore require LTA's approval. The following should be submitted to LTA for evaluation:

a) Certification from the product manufacturer stating that the proposed aftermarket exhaust system is suitable for the make and model of the vehicle.

b) Certifications or test reports from LTA/NEA recognised test laboratories to show that the aftermarket exhaust system when fitted to the vehicle on a per make and model basis complied with prevailing exhaust emission standards.

Note: Removing catalytic converters and mufflers are not allowed as it will adversely affect the exhaust emission characteristics of the vehicle.

Vehicle owners found modifying or tampering with the exhaust system may face a Court fine of up to $1,000 or 3 months' imprisonment upon conviction in Court.

----------------------------------------------------

hmm.. not easy to get it approved..

Ok Regarding exhaust system -

According to my source, In order to install Street Legals exhasut system LTA Approved Is to get Known Brands Such as eg: Yoshi, Arrows & KR Tuned & Leo Vince etc.. Directly from the shop, ask them wheather it's approved type or not, get them to fix it up nicely, - Here's the catch, it's either you send the bike to vicom for the exhaust inspection or u pay extra to the workshop to have them send it for you by the back of a pick-up truck. Vicom will issue you a certificate to indicate that this exhasut system install is complied with prevailing exhaust emission standards...

it's that EaSy....

Time & Money is at the assent....

P:s - Keep the Cert inside the bike, just incase...

Alamak bro. U should read up furthur back. Bro IvikaRazi has done a lot of research on this. So unless GPR pipes comes with documentations that the pipe is meant for bike model GSR 400. LTA will not give any approval or what so ever even if u pay them extra. Thus far according to Razi, That GPR Ghost pipe documentation only comes with certification for GSR 600 only. If GPR asia manage to get that documentation to say that the pipe can be applied to both GSR 400 and GSR 600, than i can assure u that bro Razi and a few others in this thread is first to go for it.

Hahahha... Bro this is beyong foot stuck in jamban... Some of our GSR bro's has even gone "renegade" with other more stylo/renowned pipes... Should GPR decide to stay the small fries in the industry then bo pian. Time to pester other renowned makers. Its jus a simple need to include "GSR 400 / GSR 600" on the certs and they will be making money...

Recession lah... Price of nitrogen must have gone up to compensate... I should have invested in buying canisters of nitrogen... I WOULD BE RICH!!.. hahahah :sian:
