My first BT023 last around 22,500 km. But i believe it can reach 25,000km !!! or even more maybe? Changed due to having 3 combo worms altogether at the rear tire. 2nd BT023 i USED for about 17,500km. Changed because there's 1 worm also at the rear. But recently have to pump many time, like trice a wk aft overnight will flat. B4 that no problem, fixed worm maybe on January. Till now then got tire flat problem. And NOW on the 17/07/2012 Changed to different category tire. Its the latest BridgeStone HYPERSPORT S20. Now Riding my Revo with the New Battlax S20 is so BELIEVING.:angel:

...I ask one of the guy there to bring down both PR3 & BT023 Just the REAR TIRE first to compare. Carry both, press and touch the surface. Find out that PR3 is hell very light weight, not solid/compact than BT023. Finally Change to the BT023.

LOL... you can't judge a tyre just by doing that! By the way, all things being equal, lighter is actually better...

Anyway, good choice on the S20s. Got some great reviews, not just from journalists but also from riders with some racing experience. If I wasn't doing so many long distance rides, I probably would have bought the S20s.

Anyway, may i ask what do u mean by "all things being equal, lighter is actually better". Take 1 of my example. Our bar end shld be heavy, the heavier it is, the more it will be stable, and IF bike falls during stationery positions, it won't break easily. I know lighter is actually better. It saves fuel and better pick up. But in this case regarding PR3 is hell too light. About the Wobble issues, i think this i one of the factor. As i said earlier it's not solid/compact too. Means it is not durable than BT023. Well for the S20, I believe it can withstand long distance rides too.

If I understand you correctly, some time in the future we won't be able to use car EO in bikes? Hmm... I think it's another of their (big oil) schemes to suck money out of bikers... :pity:

Until the day, if it comes, when my clutch slips or engine overheat, I'll continue to use car engine oils. :)

I wish they have oil analysis facilities here in Singapore like they do in the US. It would be useful to have my used engine oil analyzed to prove that it is ok to use car EO...

Yuh u understood correctly and yes my opinion is the same when I was discussing with my frenz. The reason given during the seminar was tat the population has up their expectation and look for more performance. But my feel is tat majority still look for efficiency and things like cost savings. Well when the day ur clutch slips, it may be too late, but since u r somewat a techie, u should be able to c tat the oil bottle has changed. Those of us who dun understand best dun try. I ve good adviser so is ok... lol

As for oil analysis, there r, just tat not for public use. =D

Hi everyone,

can someone please recommend a good rearset for CB400 2008?

Which Rear Set Are U Talking About? Tires Or Chain & Sporcket??? IF for tires, i recommend BridgeStone BT023 for Sport Touring or u can try the Latest BridgeStone S20 for HyperSport. For Chain and Sporcket, good to go with DID Chain and AFAM Sporcket.

LOL.... sorry, couldn't resist :p

@lemontree

I think the Sato Racing rearsets look good. Downside is that their not adjustable and are rather expensive.

The ones that I've seen fitted on bikes in Singapore (only 1 or 2 so far) look horrible and in my opinion, not worth considering.

Do contact the following distributors in SG to see if they have any decent ones:

Hi, thanks for your suggestion and link. I have emailed motoworld for rear set.. It's hard to find a good cheap set for CB400 :(
