Hi im new here, any difference in terms of performances between yoshi r77j slip on and moriwaki shorty? full

Hi! I'm new here too and I just saw this so idk if you still need the answers but here's a rough sense of what I know. I ride with a yoshi R77 slip on, came with the bike when I bought but I've tried my friends' super 4s with the stock and moriwaki shorty too.

To the layman I don't think it makes much of a difference in terms of feel when you ride in Singapore. The slip on definitely doesn't have any effect on the performance of the bike but the full system would theoretically allow the engine to "breathe out" better but that's just the general consensus of aftermarket exhausts (p sure there are many articles and videos on this for more details). Many sites also say that the stock exhaust is technically designed specifically for the bike so it should provide the best performance. Ultimately it will be up to you as the rider!

Rider at heart, always looking for new things to learn abt bikes!

@Chesticles which sounds better? i think that is a big determining factor when choosing exhaust.. the cb400 sounds damn good man................ dont think i've heard a better sounding class 2a bike

the moriwaki shorty not nice leh..........

Hi fellow S4 riders out there. Am facing a significant issue with my S4 Revo 2010.

Unable to activate the VTEC at 7000rpm+ (no matter how high the rpm kicks)

Have done the following but issue not yet resolved. I want to seek some opinion based on either knowledge or experience. Any advise will be greatly appreciates? So please contribue and assist!

I have sought advise from a few workshops already, but all of them are suggesting different things. So I am stuck.

The following has been done regarding this issue but to no avail.

1)Changed the VTEC solenoid

2) Vacuum sync

3) Changed throttle body set

Or for a start able to share with me what tests I can do to check if the vtec is present or not. Please help. Thanks in advance.

make sure your coolant is there.. sometimes, they forget to fill to brim.. with the new mechanics nowadays.. and or always busy workshops...

Kindly read thru at least the intro section first before decide to post any comments.... thanks...

Hi recently just got a spec 3 from direct owner which has led strips installed in the speedometer. When ignition is on and engine is not, turning on signal lights are causing the led strips to flicker, also the fuel gauge is loading and not showing the fuel level sometimes when this happens. Could it be a wiring issue or weak battery?

press horn and if the lights flicker = battery.. install a Volt meter to check the voltage.. (after you change the battery) on ignition should be 12-12.4 when pressing start will drop to 10-11..
