Hi fellow bros, just wondering anyone service their Spec2 in jb before. Cos now everything so ex here man? Any shop to recommend for S4, cos I think not alot of shop do big bike?

Yes thing are expensive here ( Singapore ) but over Malaysia got cheap parts for S4? Even have, mostly what i knew was they got from here ( Singapore ) coz over there mostly don't have and sold it back to us again. What cheap?? Their EO which i don't like, think workmanship cheap only.

Better Singapore la. I go Jb bike shop just to buy wax or smaller accessories. for internal problems or servicing, better do it in SG. Safer, better & can complain w/o worry of kena beaten. lol

they buy parts from spore ...

nearest dealer parts for Superbikes there is Kl ...

if you still die die want to do it over at Jb ....

there's this one shop at taman molek ...

even some of my friends who ride harleys let him service ...

the problem is ...

if he needs parts he'll call you and you get it for him ... HERE at spore ... and send it to him ...

saw a S4 in this JB shop yesterday. The rider say price here more reasonable than spore & workmanship not bad.

The service from the boss himself still can. But his workers like to do things slowly and relac one corner. S'pore plate also can wait long long there... last time small bike i go. Some of the problems that i let them try to solve ended up being rectified in Singapore. Double job.. S4? Forget it...

 

Go at your own risk, few shops specialize in bigger bikes than kups or 2B bikes, and few workers really know what they are doing...

 

Why save a penny only to lose a pound?

P-plate should be an attitude to safety and riding. There's always more to learn.

i passed by a bikeshop in johor opposite the citybank, saw a few super 4's doing servicing there.

1st thing to take note is THE ROAD! check got big hole or BROKEN ROAD`

2nd thing to take note is YOUR PASSPORT/WALLET/HP...etc valuable

3rd thing to take note is SUSPECIOUS PERSON

4th thing to take note is Go to places with more singapore bikes parked there

5th thing to take note is Make sure you know yur way back

6th thing to take note is your RINGIT enough a not

7th thing to take note is your attitude.m'sia is not our place dont anyhow tok

8th thing to take note is your petrol enough a not? dont go too far pump now!

9th thing to take note is take care of your pilion from belonging snatcher

10th thing to take note is your bike. Dont get stolen! look out for your bike!

Frenz,w/o any gd reason to go JB betta do in Spore.Our workshops are better equipped with the relevant knowledge and wider range of spare parts on bigger bikes,although i do not doubt Msia having gd mechanics to service big bikes,as i personally noe Ah Hou n his younger bro who is oso a mechanic at Hou Heng. Safety is paramount to all Singaporeans there,as i got a fren on his bike being snatched of his waist pouch on 311207 noon. Wat a turn-off. :angry:

Change oil can la.. Other repair i rather u do in singapore.. More safe.. In Jb, If they dun have the parts for ur bike, they''' anyhow take other bike bike and force it in ur bike... Seens it before.. Not to mention any shop.. If u happen to pass by ah gua lane, Have u ever wonder why there's so many 2A bike there which was not collected for quite a long time?

many time strip my bike already leave it there and go service others .

end up i pissed off

u could go to the shop near shell next to the money changer ....

 

the owner is a racer and had race a 1100cc before .....

 

know for a fact that they service military police bikes .... malaysia ones .....

 

BUT the only person that really knows is the owner .... the mech need assitance from the taukay ......

 

but i also still dun trust them to do major stuff on my bike

The FINAL word is DUN DO AT JB. Singapore more safer. I still remember I asked them to tighten my chain. Felt weird why my bike like work hard to move off. Skali went in Singapore to meet fren at Ubi and sway2 rain. Felt tyre unstable like skidding. Skali pull trottle at green light the tyre fishtail for no reason. Scared already somemore need to pillion someone I wnet to one of the shop at Ubi. The mech check said did I tighten the chain myself I said I did it in JB. He said its toooooooooooo tight. Lucky the whole chain never come off.

 

At my mech shop also one Kapchai went for repair due to at JB the mech tight the chain too tight and end up his sproket crack sia, the rim inside also dunno what thing gone case have to change the whole thing. suay...
