I'm buying a second hand bike using my father's name and me as sub rider for the insurance.. my dad currently owns a bike of his own... the LTA transfer has yet to be done

 

so my question is, can the bike be transferred to my name or die die has to be my father's name? i heard from my insurance (NUTC INCOME) that my dad has to be the owner of the bike wor... can someone enlighten me?

yes, you can be the owner of the bike by doing a transfer at LTA (documents needed).
