SHOWA suspension rebuilt

Hai guys, juz wondering if you all know where to service the rear showa s4 suspension??

 

mine was soft initially but no leakage, sent to bikeshop to repair and within 4 months leak on one side of the suspension. less then 4 months of usage in sg roads and never have this problem before.

OE showa on s4 tends to be soft due to the spring rate and damping system.

 

mezzo located @ kaki bukit road 1 (next to motoworld) are able to service your suspension. they can be contacted @ 68421907.

 

but seriously speaking, it ain't worth to spend more $$$ to service a suspension that's ineffective.

 

most s4 riders choose to upgrade their suspension to bitubo for their s4.

yeah mezzo....upgrade?? nah.... the s4 belongs to my friend aniwae and he is so called in tight budget.

There is where my fren did his shocks and within 4 mths leak. called up and was saying maybe its my frens shaft bend or worn off. for 6yrs plus never ever leak till i send for rebuilt it leaks. furthermore i need to pay the whole sum instead of discounted. so ma fren aint coming back there. maybe the custom made seal aint doin a good job.

 

perhaps going mezzo at kaki bukit.

Maybe you should try at Teo Spray Painting at Defu lane

There is one guy there who rebuilds shock absorbers & forks

According to him he can make your shocks perform better too

yeah whould check the price too. thank you for the info bro. but probably going mezzo ask andrew to do his shocks. kinda paiseh actually i recommended ma fren to him, after sales service is a dissapointment. but i like the way they handle my bike when i redo my fork last time. full of care and proper tools for the job.

i search and copy and paste from one of the reviews, teck thye is very recommended by ah choong from planet. maybe you can give a try.

 

Teck thye is another shop doin suspension & i can say tat david is best of rebuilding suspension.quite alot of biker let him rebuild it.and he can set the rebound,harden or soften the suspension upon ur request.Price rise u have to check it wif them. As in mandarin cal ( YI FEN QIAN YI FEN HUO) written in han yu ping ying as i dunno how to say it in eng. Try check with them the pricing of it

 

its my 2 cents worth,do nt get paid by them, as tis is my own feeling bout their wrkmanship.
